Al Qaeda in Pakistan assessed weakened by deaths and arrests of top brass. However, Al-Qaeda in North Africa and the Arabian Peninsula looks stronger because it uses the political upheaval in his country to build strength, then how is the fate of Al Qaeda’s Pakistan?
“It is uncertain whether al-Qaeda leadership in Pakistan will move to another place, to be concerned about now is whether Al Qaeda in Yemen or in any other region will fill the leadership of Al Qaeda in Pakistan,” said one U.S. Defense Department officials, such as quoted by the Washington Examiner on Tuesday (09/06/2011).

Through observation of the U.S. towards the Middle East, Al Qaeda is still struggling to strengthen themselves. Although they are weakened, they are still considered to be a deadly threat. U.S. officials also asserted, the world still must be vigilant and guard against the threat of Al Qaeda.
