Teleconferences

The World Congress will be preceded by five teleconferences designed to allow Delegates to explore key issues and get acquainted with each other well advance of the event itself. Each teleconference, open only to registered Delegates, will focus on a single area of interest and feature one or more world-class experts who will engage with the Delegates in a one-hour conversation about the important questions we will be exploring together.

Details on the individual teleconferences will be posted here as they become available.

Each teleconference lasts one hour, from Noon to 1 PM Eastern (US) Standard Time:

Steve Panse, Herman Miller, on The New Office Landscape

To increase the quality and frequency of innovation, organizations want more mind share among their employees; they are searching for ways to build and take advantage of social and intellectual capital. In response, the New Office Landscape is a way of conceiving and planning offices that balance numerous, and more diverse public and group areas with optimized individual spaces. The point is to offer people choice and variety in where they can work, meet, converse, and simply bump into each other. Individual spaces, though small, are more functional, user-controlled, and re-designed to focus on work alone. The watchwords for New Office Landscape are choice, variety, and human connection.

Our special guest for this conversation will be Steve Panse of Herman Miller. Steve is a Program Manager for Herman Miller’s Concept Development group. In addition to leading the design and development of physical solutions for the New Office Landscape program, he is also responsible for developing the business model that will allow Herman Miller to provide solutions for and bring value to a customer segment that is adjacent to Herman Miller’s core business.
